Cameroonian Christians from all denominations across the country have been urged to rally together and intensify prayers for God’s blessing on Cameroon if they want to see the country great.

The call was made by Post and Telecommunication Minister, Minette Libom Li Likeng during the 11th edition of the Praise and Worship Evening, an annual gospel concert organized by the Jubilee Praise Team. The team is an inter-denominational gospel music group created some 11 years ago.

The concert which took place at the Cameroon Red Cross hall in Yaounde under the theme “Altar of Praise and Mercy”, brought together music from all walks of life who came to worship God and to pray for Cameroon.

Speaking during the event, the group’s matron Minister Libom called on all and sundry to worship and thank God for preserving their lives throughout 2020.

“Lets never grow tired of worshipping and praising the lord for His goodness and mercies” she noted

In his remarks to the press, the president of the Jubilee Praise team, Nnah Faith Um urged Cameroonians to be conscious of their civic responsibilities and to always place Jesus at the center of everything concerning Cameroon.

One of the high points of the concert was prayers for Cameroon led by Bishop Christian Raymond NGWU of the Living Word Fellowship International and other men of God present who held the country’s flag to deliver Cameroon from all the different crises it is facing.

Bishop Ngwu said Cameroon is a budding country that needs the assistance of all citizens to make it grow and become great.

Other high points of the praise and worship evening that was stream live on social media and followed globally was the performance of some young gospel artists like “the Daughters”, who, presented their album as well as sang the national anthem in the Sawa dialect.

The magical voices and dance steps of the Jubilee Praise Team equally kept invitees spellbound all through the programme that lasted over two hours.
