The Cardiac Centre of the the Saint Elizabeth Catholic General Hospital Shisong, through its Mobile Clinics will screen and consult children and adults for Cardiovascular diseases  in the North West, West and Center regions from August 28 to September 1, 2018.

The announcement is contained in a communiqué from the Cardiac Center signed by its General Manager, Sister Ngong Alphonsa Suliy.

At the Saint Francis Hospital Ntasen, Bamenda the Mobile Clinic will consult on the 28 of August 2018, they will be at the Centre Hospitalier Dominicain Mvog-Betsi, Yaounde and at the Centre de Sante Sainte Marie-Therese, Baham on September 1, 2018.

Accordint to the communique, new patients will pay FCFA 33.000 for consultation and screening while old patients would pay FCFA 5500 for follow up.

This medical campaign undertaken by the center is one of the many they have carried out over the years aimed at bringing health closer to the people and at affordable cost.

The Shisong Cardiac Centre is the only cardio-surgical Center in Central/West Africa, equipped with ultra modern technologies and prepared to offer a wide range of cardiology services including diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology.

Cameroon’s Head of State, Mr. Paul Biya, declared it a reference Center during its inauguration on November 19, 2009.
